AMI’s Derek Johnson is excited to return as an instructor at the American School of Gas Measurement Technology (ASGMT). Derek will conduct hands-on training on AMI’s Model 4010LX Trace Moisture Gas Analyzer. Subject matter will include a discussion on the installation and operation of the analyzer as well as hands-on demonstration of maintenance tasks that can be performed in the field on the unit. Derek’s session will be Tuesday, September 1 from 1:15 pm to 3:00 pm in the Waterway 7 room. This training will be a great introduction for new field measurement technicians who have not worked on AMI’s gas analyzers as well as an excellent refresher for technicians with experience working on the Model 4010LX.
The Model 4010LX Trace Moisture Gas Analyzer utilizes tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy (TDLAS) for H2O measurements in natural gas streams. Features of the analyzer include a complete sample system, integrated Analyzer Guardian technology to protect the measurement cell from liquids and particulates, two fully adjustable concentration alarms, a compact, low-weight design, and low power consumption suitable for solar powered operation.
AMI will be exhibiting at ASGMT and will be located at booth 716. On display at the booth will be many of the gas analyzers AMI offers to measure trace oxygen, H2S, and moisture contaminants found in natural gas streams.
ASGMT is the largest gas measurement school in the US, offering a variety of courses related to natural gas measurement and technology.
