Biogas must not exceed maximum levels of trace oxygen, hydrogen sulfide, and moisture - to be considered PIPELINE-READY.
Biogas, or Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) must meet the same quality standards as traditional natural gas before it can be sold to utilities and transported through their pipelines. This means it must conform to the contractional maximums, or “tariff limits” of oxygen, H2S and moisture in the biogas. Failure to keep biogas in these limits will result in pipeline operators rejecting or 'shutting-in' the biogas producer making it impossible for them to sell their gas to the buying utility.

AMI’s fixed and portable Gas Analyzers make it easy to verify your biogas is pipeline ready.

AMI offers a complete measurement solution for each of the critical gas contaminates to ensure that the Biogas is ready to move from your plant to the buyer. Our easy-to-use high-performance Gas Analyzers are designed with proprietary innovation to deliver fast, reliable readings.
