Advanced
Micro Instruments manufactures
a complete line of high performance
electrochemical oxygen sensors for
industrial markets. AMI covers both
percent and trace (ppm) applications
in the measurement range of .05ppm
up to 100% oxygen in a self contained
disposable package.
Every AMI sensor is
built to exact tolerances under
controlled conditions in our facility
located in Huntington Beach, CA.
After assembly our sensors must
endure a burn in period for several
weeks in a nitrogen atmosphere.
Upon passing, they are installed
into individual test fixtures where
every sensors’ output is logged
for a 48-hour period while being
tested for stability, upscale and
downscale response times, zero offset,
and linearity using various test
gases.
 As
a result of advanced design and
quality control procedures, our
oxygen sensors deliver unmatched
performance. AMI sensors are oxygen
specific, providing a zero output
in the absence of oxygen therefore
eliminating the need for zero calibration
gas, and are linear throughout the
entire measurement range.
We have incorporated
many advanced proprietary features,
allowing for greater volumes of
electrolyte and lead without sacrificing
response times. Our sensor approach
is truly unique and currently has
a patent pending.
Both AMI percent and
trace oxygen sensors are available
for use in inert and CO2 background
gas streams.
