The Guardian
Advanced Micro Instrument's
Analyzer "Guardian" solves a number
of long-standing issues associated with
natural gas analysis.
Free water, hydrocarbon condensate,
compressor oils, "pigging" gas
lines and equipment failures all too often
result in flooding and damaging expensive
analytical equipment.
The Guardian liquid rejection
membrane effectively and reliably rejects
hydrocarbon condensate and liquid slugs,
preventing them from ever reaching critical
gas analyzers.
The Guardian also incorporates
an integral check valve, allowing gas to
flow in one direction only. During a gas
compressor failure, a vacuum condition can
occur and without an appropriate check valve
in place, atmospheric air can be sucked
through the analyzer's exhaust line back
into the gas pipeline causing contamination
and an explosive mixture.
The Guardian Liquid Rejection
Probe offers all this functionality in one
small, compact package:
- Rugged compact design.
- Simple installation.
- No bypass flow required,
even when used for continuous operation.
- Continuously and automatically
drains liquids back into the pipeline,
even after a slug has passed. No manual
drain required.
- Vertically mounts to the
pipeline via a ½" NPT tap
or fitting. Does not extend into the pipeline
causing an obstruction during a "pigging"
operation.
- Built in reverse flow check
valve.
- Works in pressure ranges
from 1.5psig to1200psig.
- Available with integral
micro sized surface mount pressure-reducing
regulator. Inlet pressures form 7-1200psig.
Output pressure range 0-25psig.
The Guardian works successfully
in harsh pipeline conditions rejecting all
liquids commonly found including: water,
glycols, and most hydrocarbons.AMI continues
to provide breakthrough solutions to difficult
problems where oxygen analysis is required.
